1st Pannal Scout Group was founded in 1948 and currently has around 100 young people in the group.

We try to instil the UK Scouts #SkillsForLife pledge into everything we do, whether that’s teaching the Squirrels to throw and catch, the Beavers to write a poem for remembrance, the Cubs to iron their neckers, the Scouts to SCUBA dive or supporting our Explorers with their activities and expedition for Duke of Edinburgh awards.

The building we own was built in 1818 as Pannal Village School, the Scout Group have owned and managed it since 1968. We’ve been going through a major refurbishment recently and are upgrading it to add space, add storage, meet fire regulations and improve general safety for our young people and community use.

Squirrels – Tuesdays 16.30 – 17:30
Beavers – Tuesdays 18:00 – 19:00
Cubs – Thursdays 18:00 – 19:30
Scouts – Fridays 19:00 – 20:30(ish)
Explorers – Sundays Fortnightly 18:30-20:00(ish)
