Every week, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities

Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.

The one hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.

Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life. Of course, none of it would be possible without the support of the amazing leaders who plan and deliver such an inspiring programme.

Our Squirrels section is well subscribed and we use the above waiting list to hold your details and get in touch when spaces become available.

If you are willing to become a Leader in the section we may be able to offer your child a place on completion of some basic training and an approved DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certification.

FAQ
Q – When I’m on the waiting list, how long will it be until I get a space?
A – It depends on what places become available as people move through the group. We don’t operate a taxi rank waiting list. When we have a vacancy we look to see who is the right age and fit to join. In order to make scouts work throughout the 5 sections we need a range of ages, and need to ensure that the child starts sufficiently close to the starting age range of the section to be able to achieve the chief scout award. If we find more volunteers, we may be able to create more spaces in the group.
